I don’t think I can say enough about Sean and his Samos recruiting group. We originally ended up at a location in New Zealand through a recruiting agency that advised me not to worry; that they would take care of everything. Unfortunately, that was hardly the case, and the agency basically acted more like an impediment.

After 5 months at that first placement both I and my family desired something else from our experience here. Sean and I met in person. He asked me what things I was looking for in a job, in a community, etc. We continued to meet via Skype where he met my spouse and kids and got a better idea of us as a family. He then set to work. From his extensive knowledge of the whole of New Zealand, he found me a most rewarding, meaningful, and welcoming opportunity in the Far North, where we have been for the past almost 5 months. The experience working with the largely Maori population has enriched our lives in so many ways, and given us a taste of New Zealand vastly different from that found elsewhere in the country.

Sean made me feel as if I was the only physician he was taking care of. He stayed in close touch via Skype, email and texts. Because of his experience, Sean knows who to contact at the right time in the appropriate office to expedite numerous critical processes, such as obtaining work visa from immigration and securing medical certification and amendments to scope of practice from Medical Council.

Summarizing, I have had experience with other physician recruiters both in the US and here in NZ. I can tell you that there is nobody that I would trust more with finding me and my family a good fit than Sean and Samos. They definitely raise the bar to a whole new level of professionalism.
